| My 5 Favorite Destinations and Attractions |
In no particular order. Don’t ask me to rate these. They are all fabulous destinations!!
- Maldives – The most incredible hotel and service. We stayed at the Conrad Rangali in a Deluxe Beach Villa for our honeymoon, and felt like we were on a movie set the entire time. Romantic Getaway
- Saly, Senegal – The quaintest beautiful beach resort I’ve been to, and it’s only about an hour outside of the hustle and bustle of Dakar - Quaint Beach
- Bali, Indonesia – I found a great tailor here named Buddy, who made me 2 leather coats in 2 days for peanuts. The dollar was way stronger then, but you probably could still do very well in this beautiful country. Paradise
- Sydney, Australia – probably not a good reason to state that you like a foreign country, but I liked Sydney because it felt a lot like America. San Francisco to be exact. I was there during the summer of 2000 for the Summer Olympics, and enjoyed every moment of it. Good food, shopping and interesting Aboriginal art and culture. Sydney
- South Beach, Miami USA – Visited South Beach for the first time in 2004, and I still think about the most amazing brunch I have ever had at Nemo. It was plentiful, delicious and reasonably priced (for the enormous selection). Still rates as the best brunch I have ever had. Best Brunch
Bonus
- Tuscany, Italy – I have always wanted to do a bike tour through Tuscany. The only problem is that I haven’t found anyone yet who wants to spend their vacation huffing and puffing up Italy’s mountainside. Until then, I read the reviews and dream Italian Countryside
